Security Checkpoint Expansion

More people than ever are moving through Midway. The existing security checkpoint area needs to be expanded to meet the expected demand as passenger numbers continue to grow. To alleviate congestion in the concourse and improve the traveler experience through TSA security inspections, the CDA is widening the existing security checkpoint area as part of the Midway Modernization Program (MMP). The expanded security area will span Cicero Avenue and also provide a new, welcoming gateway to Chicago.
